Dr. Nusrat Khansur has generously agreed to be our Treasurer.  She will also be responsible for signing any document on behalf of MBA and representing MBA if an official representation of any nature is needed in a given situation.

It was agreed upon that part of the Bangla lessons will be web based using MBA’s website.  Several names were proposed as potential Bangla teachers and a final arrangement on this issue will be made soon.

Bangla language and music classes will be held on a biweekly basis.  We hope to resume our classes around the 3rd week of October.  No final decision was made on class locations, but a few suggestions were made – such as holding classes outdoors at the city parks as long as the weather permits and simultaneously look for a classroom space at various public facilities.

Tuition will be $7.00 per month per family.

There will be two cultural and one community outreach programs (but not limited to) per year.  The cultural programs will be: (1) observing International Mother’s Language Day and (2) at the get-together for Eid (Eid-Ul Fitr).  A Puja get-together may also be rejoiced if enough volunteers are found to organize it. The community outreach program will be either Relay for Life to raise funds for American Cancer Society, or a program that supports a social cause.  A temporary committee will be formed to organize any MBA sponsored event.
